We have a long, successful, history with our favorite designers, such as Patricia Farley, Maggy Pavlou, and Taos weaver Barbara Ehrlich, just to mention a few. But each season we also strive to add new designers and fresh blood to the Artemisia stable of designers. For spring/summer 2010, we are very excited about introducing casual knitwear and linen jackets by German designer Barbara Speer, as well as the layered "Lagenlook" in gauze linen from the Difera design studio. Going through the steps of doing a direct import from a foreign country was a headache at first, but well worth it, as we're thus able to pass the savings of bypassing the middle man directly on to our customers. Other highlights for spring are a brand new collection of Chris Baumgartner's "Itemz" line in crush linen/silk, Doshi's new 2010 line, as well as Renee's lattice weave Dupioni Silk Jackets. |
